Second ultra-Orthodox party quits Israeli government over army exemptions

Ministers from Israel's ultra-Orthodox Shas party resigned on Wednesday over the coalition's failure to pass a military service exemption law but said they would still support Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's government and not back any no-confidence vote. It comes only days after another Israeli ultra-Orthodox party quit the government and coalition.
